Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame: Triple Inductee

Entry published in Awards / Last modified on 26 August 2005

Eric was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame as a solo artist on 6 March 2000 during a ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. That night, he became the first and only “Triple Inductee”.

He was previously inducted as a member of Cream in 1993 and in 1992, as a member of The Yardbirds.

Individual musicians or bands become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first album. Potentially, Eric can be inducted 4 more times based on his membership in John Mayall’s Blues Breakers, Blind Faith, Delaney & Bonnie & Friends, and Derek & The Dominos.
